Qu. What is your hourly rate?
I don’t have a set hourly rate simply because every garden is different, may require different skills to complete and time.
Qu. I have a budget so are you expensive?
Firstly I’d say “compared to what?”
A lot of gardening work can be done by a ‘Labourer’ and probably for less than I charge. I’m not the cheapest but I believe you pay for what you get – To your garden I bring 50 years of knowledge and experience and a commitment to making your garden look the best it can.
I am also aware that many people are watching the pennies these days and do take that into account.
Qu. Do you take the garden waste away?
Yes, I do and that is built into my fee.
Qu. Do you do a site visit?
Often all I need to provide a quote is what work you want doing, photos & where you live. However, I do also visit sites when required.
Qu. Can you give advice on flowers, plants and trees
Yes I do for my customers
Qu. Do you clear completely overgrown gardens?
That’s my speciality! It accounts for 90% of my new customers
Qu. My garden is always full of weeds. Can you do something about that?
1st of all weeds never stop growing. But the good news is, that there are several options to combat that putting an end to virtually all weeds whether that’s in borders, lawns, paths or driveways
Qu. Do you maintain gardens on a regular basis?
Yes I do. Depending on the customers need, budget and time of year I look after gardens weekly, fortnightly, monthly or as and when
Qu. Should I pay with cash or bank transfer?
Either is fine
